Kobe City Forest Botanical Garden Hydrangea Walk in the Botanical Garden 2025 Outline
The “Hydrangea Walk in the Botanical Garden” is a spring to early summer event held at the Kobe City Forest Botanical Garden, which stretches at the foot of Mt. The largest hydrangea garden in the Kansai region with approximately 50,000 plants and 350 varieties in 25 species, the garden features rare and rare varieties such as the seven-tiered hydrangea called “phantom hydrangea” and the pale, clear “Himehydrangea” in Rokko blue.
Hydrangeas are beautiful even on rainy days, and their fresh appearance is also an attraction. On Saturdays and Sundays, the garden opens early at 8:00 a.m., allowing visitors to spend a refreshing morning time.
There are also family-friendly activities such as guided tours of the hydrangea forest, Tanabata decoration making (limited to June 29), and music concerts.
