Moko Green Garden opened in September 2023, a 4-minute walk from Mabashi Station.
As the name suggests, the store has a large selection of green plants, including houseplants.
The interior of the store is a cozy and relaxing space that looks like a garden.
We interviewed the owner, Ms. Mori!
Healing space like a garden
What is the concept of your restaurant?
I opened the store because I wanted to create such a healing space, like relaxing in the sunlight through the trees in a garden where flowers are blooming. It is the kind of scenery where your dog is running around and playing.
Also, I have always loved greenery, so my concept was to create a store with a lot of greenery.
The name of the store is a combination of the name of my dog, my initials, and the concept of “green” and “garden.
We have a lot of green plants, so we are very particular about the plants we have.
We have a large selection of easy-to-handle plants for beginners, and I will support you on how to handle and grow them, so beginners can come to our store with confidence. In fact, many people make their debut as a houseplant grower in our shop.
We also have many rare plants for the enthusiast, so I would like to invite people who love houseplants to come to our store.
We are happy to see that more and more people are coming all the way from far away to visit our shop to buy houseplants.
We would like to continue to offer a wide range of houseplants to meet the needs of many different people.
Flowers, too! We’re full of them.
Of course we have many flowers available.
We offer not only seasonal flowers, but also a wide range of flowers, from the light-colored flowers of today to flowers with good color, as well as flowers for offerings.
We also welcome orders for gifts for festive occasions.
Workshops are also authentic.
I heard that you also offer workshops.
Workshops are held seasonally.
Weinvite outside instructors to hold these workshops, so the content is well rounded.
Last time we did Christmas wreath and tabletop tree making, and we had a full house.
The next workshop will be held in March to make mimosa swags, and we will continue to hold regular workshops, so please check our Instagram.
The cute store with natural taste and Ms. Mori’s calm personality made it a wonderful healing space.
We recommend that those who love houseplants, and those who are just starting out, visit the shop. I am sure you will have an exciting encounter.
Thank you, Ms. Mori!
