Located just a short walk from Shibuya, Suido Mei is a plant and pot store started by a couple obsessed with the fascination of plants and pots.
A one-of-a-kind selection of plants that will make you fall in love at first sight.
We are pleased to introduce you to Mr. Akira Suido.
Longtime plant enthusiast owner.
The owner, Mr. and Mrs. Kikkawa have always loved plants, visiting botanical gardens overseas and even building their own plastic greenhouses at home. They are also extremely fond of plants, having more than 500 pots in their home.
When Mr. Kikkawa had a problem with the condition of his plants as a purchaser, he experienced that he could not get much advice from the dealers, so he opened the store to help people who were having the same problem as he was. He opened the shop to help people who have the same problems as he did. He aims to be the easiest store to consult with in Japan.
The name of the store, Suidou Ming, means Green Alliance, which refers to the circle of green lovers, and the desire to brighten homes with plants.

A place where you can meet plants that you fall in love with at first sight.
What makes Suido Akira’s products unique is that he matches rare and fascinating plants selected by plant lover Mr. Kikkawa with pots that enhance the plants. His inspiring creations have a refined beauty that cannot be found in mass-produced items.
The store is arranged in such a way that the plants are easy to view, allowing you to take your time and admire them.

We purchase houseplants directly from growers and also from overseas growers, so we carry many truly rare items that are not usually seen.
The pots are also made by artists, and are made of glass and ceramics in a wide variety of materials, shapes, and colors.
The plants are named by Mr. Yoshikawa based on the language of flowers, feng shui, and the shape of the trees, so you can get attached to them.

All of them you will want to give as gifts.
I think coming here changes the image of houseplants.
Reliable and reliable after-sales support
Mr. Yoshikawa has experienced problems with lack of after-sales support as a previous purchaser, and Suidoumei places great importance on after-sales support. If you bring a product purchased at the store to the store, they will perform a physical examination, and in some cases, they even offer a service where they will keep the product for a few days for intensive treatment. This is something that is very much appreciated by users, as usually the sale is the end of the service.
I think that when giving as a gift, it will be appreciated even more if it comes with after-sales support.
I was also impressed by Mr. Yoshikawa’s kind and easygoing personality, and the environment in which he was able to easily consult with customers before purchasing a product, allowing them to make a purchase with full understanding of the product. In fact, when I was there, there were people who talked with him for about 2 to 30 minutes before making a decision.
Also, if you tell them what you want, they will arrange for a similar item to be purchased in the future, so I think it is a good idea to feel free to tell them what you want!

This is a store in the middle of Shibuya where you can encounter a selection of the best houseplants from all over the world. Please visit us.
