The concept of the store and the origin of its name.
The name VIVID and the slogan “STYLE YOUR SPACES” express our desire to help spread a lifestyle where fresh and colorful flowers and plants add color to everyone’s life and where people can enjoy flowers and plants in a casual manner.
In Europe, it is commonplace to buy flowers and display them in one’s living room, just as one would buy fruits and vegetables. We want Japan to be like that as well, which is why we offer a wide variety of products at affordable prices. From the consumer’s point of view, this is a very gratifying store ◎
The interior of the store is like a botanical garden
VIVID Storehouse is produced by Kawano Corporation, which has been in business for over 90 years as a middle wholesaler in the Ota Market, where flowers are auctioned and wholesaled. This is the reason for the wide selection of products and shockingly low prices.
The first surprise is the size of the store. The interior of the store seems to be more than three times the size of a typical town flower shop. The entrance is also open and easy to enter.
The eye is then greeted by a large number of plants and potted plants that make one feel as if one has entered a botanical garden. There are several hundred items in the store. The selection is replenished and changed weekly, so you are sure to find something new and in season.
A wide range of houseplants are available, from standard popular varieties to rare items that sell out as soon as they are posted on social media.
They have reasonable prices, and you can even buy a five-pack of orchids at a discount, and they offer delivery (for a fee) within the 23 wards of Tokyo. If you are looking for Phalaenopsis orchids for celebrations or Mother’s Day, this is definitely the place to go.
They also wrap houseplants, so they are a good choice for gifts ◎.
Bundles of cut flowers for sale are also a good target.
VIVID Storehouse is in trouble not only for its houseplants. Their cut flowers are also in bad shape.
Basically, they sell them in bundles of 10, and most of them are priced at less than 100 yen per bundle.
Flowers are shipped directly from the market and arrive at the store fresh. The delivered flowers are arranged in a huge refrigerated room.
Customers walk into this huge refrigerated room and select their flowers in a walk-in style. This means that the flowers are not damaged by the heat, etc., and are arranged in the best condition for the flowers, so you can get high quality flowers at a low price.
They are also popular with dried flower artists and people who run their own flower classes. This is a store you should know about!
Cut flowers for sale in bundles arrive around 2:00 pm. (Please call to confirm the arrival time, as it may vary depending on road conditions and the amount of flowers received.) However, on Saturdays and Sundays, we sell from the time we open.
You can also ask for a bouquet, which will be stylishly decorated and used as a gift.
Parking for 5 cars is available within a 1-minute walk!
