IBARAKI FLOWER PARK Taiwan Flower Festival 2025 Overview
The inaugural “Taiwan Flower Festival” is a month-long special event featuring a collaboration between Ibaraki Flower Park, known for Ibaraki’s spring roses, and Taiwan’s floral culture. Taiwanese oncidiums and anthuriums will be displayed on a large scale in the rose garden and greenhouse, creating a luxurious space where visitors can enjoy the splendor of Taiwanese orchids and Ibaraki’s spring roses at the same time. In the central plaza of the garden, gourmet booths that reproduce Taiwanese food stalls will be lined up, offering a variety of authentic Taiwanese delicacies such as small baskets, pineapple cakes, and tapioca drinks. Visitors can enjoy authentic Taiwanese fruits and tea aromas at the Taiwanese tea and cut fruit tasting corner. On weekends, workshops are held to experience rare cultural experiences in Japan, such as making Taiwanese lanterns and arranging Taiwanese-style bouquets. The entire grounds will be a resort space decorated with Taiwanese flowers and culture, and will be dotted with photo spots. At night, the rose and Taiwan orchid display area will be lit up, creating a fantastic atmosphere that differs from that of the daytime. Please come and enjoy Japan’s first floral cultural exchange event, where you can taste Taiwan’s “flowers,” “food,” and “culture” all at the same time. This event can be enjoyed by families, couples, and friends.
