Akebono Agricultural Park Sunflower Field Overview
At Akebono-yama Agricultural Park, you can enjoy a flower-filled playground and hands-on farmers’ park, symbolized by windmills decorated with seasonal flowers. The highlight of summer is undoubtedly the approximately 80,000 sunflowers.
They reach their peak bloom from mid-July for about a week. You can enjoy the vibrant golden flowers up close for free. The park is equipped with benches and rest areas, allowing you to relax and enjoy a leisurely stroll through the flower fields in the shade of the trees. On July 20, a Summer Festival will be held with a festival corner, food trucks, and stalls, and on the following day, July 21, a Summer Festival will take place with food trucks and a water play area.
