A colorful garden in early summer with 140,000 irises in full bloom. The dynamic landscape that takes advantage of the difference in elevation is also an attraction.

Access | Train】 Take JR Yokosuka Line→Kinugasa Station, get off at “Shobuen Circulation” at Keihin Kyuko Bus Stop #3 and get off at “Shobuen”. 2 minutes on foot. Keihin Kyuko Line→Get off at Shioiri Station, take Keihin Kyuko Bus No. 1 to “Su10” or “Kinugasa Station via Ikegami” (No. 19), and get off at “Ikegami Junior High School”. It is a 20-minute walk from the bus stop. Car】 5 min. drive from Yokosuka Interchange on Yokohama-Yokosuka Road. Parking lot available. April-June (86 cars) 320 yen for 1 hour from entry, 150 yen for every 30 minutes thereafter. Yokosuka Iris Garden Iris Festival Overview
From late May to late June, the Yokosuka Iris Garden is at its best with 140,000 irises in 400 varieties, covering an area of 3.8 hectares. The 2025 Iris Festival will be held from May 24 (Sat.) to June 22 (Sun.)!
During the festival, there will be Iris sales, flower shell picking, and concerts, as well as Sekiguchi Ranch’s soft-serve ice cream, Japanese and Western sweets, and local delicacies!

- Colorful varieties are a sight to behold! Approximately 400 varieties of 140,000 irises are in full bloom, and there is much to see. The irises spreading all over the slope are popular for their “spectacular view.
- Dynamic scenery Climbing up the walkway with its elevation differences, visitors can enjoy the flowers from different angles from above and below, making it a great place for photos.
- Barrier-free access available Wheelchair-accessible routes, rest benches, and restrooms are available for the elderly and small children.
