The “Millennium Garden Lavender Garden” is located in Ranzan-cho, about one hour from central Tokyo, in the center of Saitama Prefecture.
The sweet and refreshing fragrance of approximately 20,000 lavender plants and 10 varieties drifting in the fresh cool breeze will make you feel the early summer, which soothes both your mind and body.
Lavender picking, flower basket making using lavender, and local gourmet booths will be crowded every day.
Admission is free this year, so feel free to come and enjoy one of the best lavender festivals in the Kanto area with your family and friends, where you can fully enjoy the lavender with all your senses.

2025 Ranzan Lavender Festival in Ranzan Town, Saitama Prefecture Outline
Located on a gently sloping hillside, the Millennium Garden Lavender Garden is home to approximately 20,000 lavender plants of 10 varieties. 4.7 hectares of the lavender garden, which peaks in mid-June and changes color from light purple to deep purple, can be fully enjoyed simply by walking around the gazebo and walking trails. There are also a variety of programs that allow visitors to enjoy lavender more than just looking at it, including hands-on experiences such as picking and making lavender flower baskets. Families and couples can enjoy selling lavender-related specialties and enjoying sweets and drinks made from lavender. Admission to the park is free this year, so why not visit?
