Event Summary
The Old Furukawa Garden is a rare garden in Tokyo where visitors can enjoy at one place a Western-style garden with 200 roses of about 100 varieties in bloom, a stately Western-style building, and a Japanese garden created by Jihei Ogawa VII, a famous gardener in Kyoto. The Spring Rose Festival, held in conjunction with the spring rose season, will be held for the 23rd time this year. The construction of the exterior wall of the Western-style building, which has been underway since 2005, is scheduled to be completed in March 2025, and visitors can enjoy the roses along with the beautifully restored Western-style building.
